Cookies

There is no analytics SDK, ad pixel, or session-replay script anywhere on this site today, and therefore nothing from a third party writing a tracking cookie to your browser. We checked the actual code, not just our intent — no such script is loaded on any page.

If you sign in, our authentication provider (Supabase, via its @supabase/ssr library) sets a first-party cookie named like sb-<project-ref>-auth-token (split into .0, .1, etc. if the session is large enough to need chunking). This is the only cookie the site sets. It exists to keep you signed in between requests — it identifies your session to our own server, nothing else. It is not used to track you across other sites, and it is never sold or shared with an ad network.

This is a strictly necessary / essential cookie in the sense that term is normally used: the site can't know you're signed in without it. If you don't create an account, this cookie is never set.

Some sites show a cookie-preference banner with categories you can opt in or out of. We're not building one of those today, on purpose: it would imply there's an optional, non-essential cookie to choose about, and there isn't one. Adding a toggle for nothing to toggle would be decoration, not disclosure.

Where the law requires consent for a cookie, we will ask for it before setting it.
